Tax Preparation in Ledger Live

This article aims to assist Ledger Live users in gathering some necessary information to prepare their taxes. We'll guide you through using the Zenledger, Waltio, and Coinledger apps in the Discover section, as well as show you how to access your transactions from the settings menu in Ledger Live.

Using ZenLedger, Waltio, or Coinledger for Tax Preparation

These applications are tax preparation software integrated in the Discover section of Ledger Live. To access these programs, simply go to the Discover section of Ledger Live and click on one of the applications to find out more information.

Once you are in these applications, you can connect your Ledger device and it will automatically import your cryptocurrency transactions. You will be able to see all of your transactions organized by tax year, and these apps will generate the necessary tax forms for you for your tax authority. 

Access your transactions from the settings menu

In addition to using the ZenLedger, Waltio, and Coinledger apps, you can also access your transactions from the settings menu in Ledger Live. To export your transaction history:

1. Open Ledger Live.

2. Go to Settings menu.

3. Click Accounts tab.

4. Next to Operation history, select Save and chose the accounts you wish to export.

5. Save the file and click done
