This article provides information to customers who see a "Battery cannot charge" error message on their Ledger Nano X.
As a safety precaution, the device stops charging when it detects an error with the battery charger.
Note that you can dismiss the error message by pressing both buttons on your Ledger Nano X.
To fix the issue:
- Make sure you have updated the firmware on your device. Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to update your Ledger Nano X to the latest firmware version.
- Connect your device to a wall charger for at least 8 hours to try to resume charging.
