The error message Something went wrong please reconnect your device, invalid channel may occur when trying to add an account.
- Close all applications that may try to connect with your Ledger device, including wallet apps installed on your computer and web apps such as MyEtherWallet.
- Make sure you have the latest version of Ledger Live by restarting the app and clicking Update if the blue notification banner appears.
- Click the Accounts tab in the main menu.
- Click the Add account button.
- Follow the instructions to add the accounts.
