App connection issue after update

Follow the solutions in this article if Ledger Live does not detect an app being opened on your Ledger device. When you open the app, Ledger Live returns to Connect and unlock your Ledger device. A permanent solution is being looked into.

Possible solutions

  1. Close Ledger Live and open the app on your Ledger device first, then reopen Ledger Live to retry. Continue below if this didn't work.

  2. Restart your computer and retry the first solution.

  3. The last solution is to enable experimental USB:

    • Click on the Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of Ledger Live.

    • In the Experimental features tab, enable Experimental USB. This feature may result in some visual glitches throughout the app.
