Export logs

The Ledger Live application saves a detailed timeline of its events in a log file. Exporting these logs may be useful for troubleshooting purposes.

Use keyboard shortcut in Ledger Live Desktop

  1. Press CTRL + E on your keyboard immediately after encountering a bug or crash.
  2. Choose where to save the logs on your computer.
  3. Click Save
  4. Include saved logs JSON file in your customer request ticket.

Export from Ledger Live settings

  1. Click on Settings from the application controls top bar.
  2. Click on the Help tab.
  3. Click on the Export button next to Export logs.
  4. Choose where to save the logs on your computer.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Include saved logs JSON file in your customer request ticket.

Export from an error message

You can export the logs directly from an error message in Ledger Live Desktop.

  1. Once you see an error message in Ledger Live, click Save logs.
  2. Choose where to save the logs on your computer.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Include saved logs JSON file in your customer request ticket.
