Temporary issue with Staking and Sending Solana (SOL) in Ledger Live: "Your transaction may have failed..."

Status Created Updated
 Ongoing March 14, 2024 March 19, 2024

Ledger Live users are reporting an issue with sending, staking or unstaking Solana (SOL) coins that sometimes results in a 'Network Error' or 'Your transaction may have failed. Please wait a moment then check the transaction history before trying again' error message. This issue is caused by a spike in Solana network activity resulting in degraded fee estimation in Ledger Live and throughout the Solana ecosystem.

In the meantime, you can work around this issue by connecting your Ledger device to a a Ledger-compatible third-party wallet like Solflare or Phantom for staking or sending your Solana (SOL) instead of Ledger Live.

Also, make sure you have a bit of Solana (SOL) coins in your available (non-staked) balance before unstaking your SOL.
