Set up and use MyEtherWallet

  U2F timeout in Chrome

Due to changes in Chrome, U2F timeout issues on web apps like MyEtherWallet may occur. Please ensure your Ledger device runs the latest firmware and reinstall the app in the Manager. Also try updating USB drivers on Windows.

Install the Ethereum app on your Ledger device to manage ETH and ERC20 tokens with MyEtherWallet. The Ethereum app is developed and supported by Ledger. Check the MyetherWallet page to learn more.

Before you start

Install the Ethereum app

  1. Open the Manager in Ledger Live.
  2. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
  3. If asked, allow the manager on your device.
  4. Find Ethereum in the app catalog.
  5. Click the Install button of the app.
    • An installation window appears.
    • Your device will display Processing...
    • The app installation is confirmed.

To enable contract data:

  1. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
  2. Open the Ethereum application.
  3. Press the right button to navigate to Settings. Then press both buttons to validate.
