Troubleshooting: U2F timeout in Chrome

Due to changes in Chrome, U2F timeout issues on web apps like MyEtherWallet may occur. Please ensure your Ledger device runs the latest firmware and reinstall the app in My Ledger.

If you're still facing U2F timeout issues, try the following solutions:

  • Deactivate the Bluetooth connection on your Ledger Nano X:  simply hold both buttons to access Control Center where Bluetooth can be directly disabled.
  • Update USB drivers on Windows

Next steps

  • Check the MyEtherWallet user guide for setup instructions.
  • Reach out to MyEtherWallet via email for support.

  Derivation paths

Please note the derivation path used by Ledger Live:

  • Ledger Live creates new ETH accounts in the path: m/44'/60'/0'/0.
