Astar (ASTR)

This article describes how to create your first Astar (ASTR) account with your Ledger and the polkadot.js extension.
Check out the Astar website to learn more about the project.

Unlike Astar EVM (ASTR) accounts which are supported in the Ledger Live app, regular Astar accounts cannot be added to Ledger Live and require connecting your Ledger device to a Ledger-compatible third-party wallet like polkadot.js

Before you start

Install the Astar app on your Ledger device

  2. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
  3. If asked, allow My Ledger to access your device.
